Terms and conditions

  • Artwork to be provided by the client print ready. If you do not have artwork, Decor By Lau is happy to assist with the design however since a design fee is not charged, only one set of changes is permitted. Additional charges will be charged for.
  • It remains the client's responsibility to arrange and communicate the agreed setup and collection time with the venue and obtain the required permissions.
  • All items are for hire only and exclude delivery and collection charges.
  • Quotes expire 48 hours from the time of sending. 
  • Confirmation only on payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit.
  • Full payment must be made prior to delivery and setup. 
  • In the event that the client wishes to re-schedule, a new date and time will be agreed upon.
  • Décor By Lau supplies no items of a consumable nature (except for party packs). 

  • For a venue setting please note: Items will be collected within 4 hours of the event start time, unless otherwise pre-arranged. No collections after 17h00 are permitted, collections that fall after 17h00 will take place the following day at an extra charge to the client of R500. If this applies to your booking, please arrange with your venue. A minimum of 1.5 hrs is required for the setup and must be arranged with the venue by the client.

    For a home setting please note: Items will be collected within 6 hours of the event start time, unless otherwise pre-arranged. No collections after 17h00 are permitted, collections that fall after 17h00 will take place the following day at an extra charge to the client of R500.   
  • Reference material (including pictures) supplied to Décor By Lau is considered as reference material only. Reference material will however be used to guide the event co-ordinator of your setup requirements but the final setup will differ depending on product availability.
  • Décor By Lau will take all reasonable measures to protect against weather related issues, however the client acknowledges that weather related issues (such as storms and strong winds) are beyond our control.
  • It is the client's responsibility to dispose of balloons. 
  • Any damages will be charged to the Client and must be paid within 30 days. 
  • By payment of your deposit, you agree to these terms.
